The Saudi Medical License Exam (SMLE) is a national exam conducted by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS). It assesses the readiness of medical graduates to practice independently or enter postgraduate training programs in Saudi Arabia.
Scoring: Pass mark is 560 (on a scale of 200–800).
The exam covers four major areas:
After one year, an extra attempt per year is allowed for score improvement.

To be eligible for the Saudi Medical License Exam (SMLE), applicants must meet the following requirements:
✅ MBBS or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution.
✅ Internship completion & Minimum 1 year experience after 1 year Internship .
✅ MBBS certificate issued from Unicersity.
✅ Internship completion certificate.
✅ Academic transcript.
✅ Minimum 1 year experience completion certificate (After completion of 1 year Internship).
✅ Professional license/registration from the applicant’s home country (eg, BMDC registration certificate).
✅ Verified qualification, experience, and registration certificates (DataFlow).
✅ A copy of the national ID (for Saudis) or passport (for non-Saudis).
✅ Medical report for applicants over 65 years old (from an entity other than their employer)
